HUD-APPROVED HOUSING COUNSELING

YNDC is a HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency dedicated to helping you obtain and sustain quality affordable housing. We offer a FREE housing counseling program to assist clients with identifying and resolving financial barriers in one-on-one counseling sessions. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables is important to maintain good physical and mental health! There is now NO DAILY LIMIT on the SNAP Double Up program at participating grocery stores. If you spend at least $5 on fruits and vegetables, you can receive a voucher for the same amount of fruits and vegetables FOR FREE! For example, if you buy $30 worth of fruits and vegetables, you can get $30 in vouchers to buy FREE fruits and vegetables. The program is offered at four Sparkle locations: Cornersburg, South Avenue, Warren, and Niles; four Save-a-Lot locations: South Avenue, Lincoln Knolls, Gypsy Lane, and Warren; and the Struthers IGA. This month, many of us will receive a stimulus check from the federal government for $1,200. If you are still employed and do not need all of your check, or even if you earn too much to receive a check and wish to donate some of your income, consider investing it into the community by supporting local businesses, non-profits, or people in need.
Any stimulus check contributions to YNDC will be dedicated directly to COVID-19 response programs.
