YNDC is proud to announce the publishing of its performance report from the 1st Quarter of 2026! The performance report highlights the work of YNDC from January to March 2026.

The City of Youngstown will receive a $2.5 million grant to support the development of up to 220 workforce housing units through an infill housing initiative.

YNDC has completed the first phase of its cottage court development on Pearce Avenue. A cottage court is a housing development featuring a group of small, detached dwellings arranged around a central, shared common green or courtyard.

Bryce has lived in the Youngstown area for the majority of his life, and he says it’s the sense of community and Youngstown’s rich culture that have kept him here. After years of renting, Bryce felt it was time to start looking for a home that he could buy.

On Friday, March 13, YNDC hosted a delegation from Jamestown, New York, for a brief learning exchange.

YNDC is seeking candidates for a Marketing Assistant. Under the supervision of the Marketing Coordinator, the Marketing Assistant will assist with the completion of routine photographic documentation and other tasks as assigned.

YNDC is seeking candidates for Owner-Occupied Home Repair Outreach Assistant. Under the supervision of the Owner-Occupied Home Repair Client Coordinator, the Owner-Occupied Home Repair Outreach Assistant will complete direct outreach to potential clients, municipalities, and contractors associated with the Owner-Occupied Home Repair program.

YNDC is seeking candidates for Owner-Occupied Home Repair Project Inspector. Under the supervision of the Owner-Occupied Home Repair Client Coordinator, the Home Repair Project Inspector will complete direct outreach to potential clients, municipalities, and contractors associated with the Owner-Occupied Home Repair program.

YNDC is seeking candidates for a Grass Cutting and Cleanup Team Member Position. Under the direction of the Neighborhood Stabilization Director, the Grass Cutting and Cleanup Team Member will work with a team to implement property maintenance and neighborhood improvement projects including cutting grass, cleaning up/boarding vacant properties, basic construction/landscaping, and other projects to improve the quality of life in Youngstown’s neighborhoods.
