YNDC is proud to announce the publishing of its 2025 Annual Report. The Annual Report highlights the work of YNDC over the past 12 months.

The Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation has been awarded a $483,000 grant from the USDA Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Program, Produce Prescription Program.

The Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley awarded a $150,000 grant to the Glenwood Fresh Market. The market, located at 2915 Glenwood Avenue, provides year-round access to FREE fresh fruits, vegetables, and other healthy food items for residents of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.

YNDC has completed its 2025 neighborhood improvement projects that were made possible by support from the City of Youngstown. The improvement projects were completed on target blocks across the City of Youngstown where new homes are being constructed or vacant homes renovated.

YNDC is seeking candidates for Owner-Occupied Repair Outreach Assistant. Under the supervision of the Owner-Occupied Repair Client Coordinator, the Owner-Occupied Repair Outreach Assistant will complete direct outreach to potential clients, municipalities, and contractors associated with the Owner-Occupied Repair program.

YNDC is seeking candidates for a Grass Cutting and Cleanup Team Member Position. Under the direction of the Neighborhood Stabilization Director, the Grass Cutting and Cleanup Team Member will work with a team to implement property maintenance and neighborhood improvement projects including cutting grass, cleaning up/boarding vacant properties, basic construction/landscaping, and other projects to improve the quality of life in Youngstown’s neighborhoods.
