The performance report highlights the work of YNDC from July to September 2025.

YNDC was awarded two grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York Affordable Housing Program for Home Repair in Sharon and Farrell, Pennsylvania. The grants were $500,000 each for a total of $1,000,000. 

YNDC is seeking candidates for a TreeCorps Project Manager. Under the supervision of the Neighborhood Stabilization Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for
managing Mahoning Valley TreeCorps, a large-scale urban tree canopy restoration, management, and workforce
training program in the cities of Youngstown and Warren, Ohio that involves multiple staff, organizational
partners and volunteers.

YNDC is seeking candidates for a Grass Cutting and Cleanup Team Member Position. Under the direction of the Neighborhood Stabilization Director, the Grass Cutting and Cleanup Team Member will work with a team to implement property maintenance and neighborhood improvement projects including cutting grass, cleaning up/boarding vacant properties, basic construction/landscaping, and other projects to improve the quality of life in Youngstown’s neighborhoods.

YNDC is seeking candidates for Glenwood Fresh Market Associate. Glenwood Fresh Market Associates assist in the operation of the Glenwood Fresh Market and create a welcoming environment to achieve program service goals including: increasing access to fresh food, inspiring healyhy eating, and contributing to a clean, organized and functional environment.
