The YNDC housing team has set a new record by replacing more than 240 roofs in 2023. 194 roofs were replaced in the City of Youngstown and 47 in other communities throughout Mahoning and Columbiana Counties for a total of 241 roof replacements.

YNDC is seeking candidates for the TreeCorps Project Manager position. Under the supervision of the Neighborhood Stabilization Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing Mahoning Valley TreeCorps, a large-scale urban tree canopy restoration, management, and workforce training program in the cities of Youngstown and Warren, Ohio that involves multiple staff, organizational partners, and volunteers.

YNDC is seeking candidates for Grass Cutting and Cleanup Team Member position. Under the supervision of the Neighborhood Stabilization Director, the Grass Cutting and Cleanup Team Member will work with a team in the implementation of property maintenance and neighborhood improvement projects including cutting grass, cleaning up vacant structures and lots, boarding of vacant housing, basic construction, sidewalk repair and replacement and other projects to improve the quality of life in Youngstown’s neighborhoods.
